Why does Instagram or Facebook show the "Made with AI" label on my photos?
▼
Social networks inspect images upon upload for specific metadata standards, including C2PA manifests and the IPTC DigitalCreationType field (which AI generators automatically inject). If any of these digital markers are present in the image headers, the platform automatically attaches an "AI info" or "Made with AI" badge.
How does this tool remove AI info?
▼
Our tool reads the raw image pixels into an isolated canvas context in your browser and rebuilds the image file cleanly without copying any metadata segments (EXIF, XMP, IPTC, and C2PA JUMBF containers). The resulting file is visually identical to your original image but completely stripped of metadata.
Will my images lose quality or resolution?
▼
No. The tool preserves the exact pixel dimensions and aspect ratio. If you choose PNG format, the conversion is 100% lossless. If you choose JPEG or WebP at 95%–100% quality, visual quality is virtually indistinguishable from the source.
Are my photos uploaded to your servers?
▼
Never. Echo Line processes everything 100% locally on your own computer or phone using client-side JavaScript. Your images are never sent over the internet or saved to any database.
Is this tool completely free?
▼
Yes, it is 100% free with no limits, no signups required, and no hidden subscriptions.
